CyberLiver is a UK digital medicine company providing AI-enabled remote monitoring and managed clinical services for liver disease and alcohol use disorder. Our supply chain is small and comprises our directly recruited staff, medical devices and consumer hardware from established manufacturers, UK-based logistics and device-handling partners, secure UK-region cloud hosting, and professional services engaged under contract.
We assess the highest inherent risk in our supply chain as sitting in the manufacture of electronic hardware and in downstream logistics and warehousing, rather than in our own directly recruited workforce. Our due diligence focuses effort where that risk is greatest.
All workers are recruited directly, with documented right-to-work checks completed before they start. No worker pays a fee to work with us, and all are paid at or above the National Living Wage. New suppliers are assessed for modern slavery risk before engagement, with enhanced scrutiny for hardware manufacturers and logistics providers. Anti-slavery obligations are included in our supplier contracts, requiring compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and prompt notification of any concern. Anyone can raise a concern, confidentially or anonymously, through our Whistleblowing and Freedom to Speak Up policy, without fear of detriment.
Our people complete modern slavery awareness training when they join and annually thereafter, with additional content for clinical staff on recognising exploitation and trafficking in patients. We measure our programme against clear indicators: that all workers have documented right-to-work checks, that all new suppliers are risk-assessed before engagement, that all supplier contracts include anti-slavery terms, and that all staff complete awareness training. We review our approach each year and strengthen it where needed.
